THE #1 AFTERMARKET SPLITTER
The MJ SPLITTER Steel Pro easily installs on your table saw’s zero clearance insert, replacing the riving knife. It keeps your workpiece tight to the fence to prevent burning, and keep the kerf from pinching the blade, virtually eliminating kickback.
The initial concept for MJ SPLITTERS was born from our best resource - customer feedback! Shortly after the release of the GRR-RIPPER, early adopters suggested a splitter system that would provide the same functionality as their splitter/blade guard, but would allow the GRR-RIPPER to pass over it. The people spoke, and we listened! MJ SPLITTERs are now the world’s #1 aftermarket splitter system.
Steel core for ultimate stability and strength.
- Package includes (4) SPLITTERS, a drill guide, and a 5/32” drill bit.
- Designed for 3/32" thin kerf saw blades
- SPLITTERS are reversible for offsets of 0.000”, 0.003”, 0.006”, and 0.009”
- Kerf range: 0.090 - 0.118”.
Instructions for Phenolic Throat Plates - For 90 degree thru-cuts only.
Better protection, better cuts.
The included precision drill guide aligns your drill with the dead center of your kerf by registering off of the kerf itself.
SPLITTERS are used in tandem to fill entire kerf.
To account for runout, the package includes 4 SPLITTERS with built-in offsets from the center of the kerf. Each side has an offset in increments of .003” to ensure a perfect fit.
The offset and orientation of the SPLITTERS can be adjusted to ensure that the kerf remains open.
Use it around your whole shop.

Got questions?
Does the MJ SPLITTER system work with 12" Saw blades?
Yes, please download and read the instructions.
Will the MJ SPLITTERs fit on my zero-clearance insert?
With the blade at maximum height, you need a minimum of 2” behind the blade to install the SPLITTERs.
My zero clearance insert is phenolic. Can I still install SPLITTERs?
Yes! However, the installation process is slightly different to account for the density of the material. Watch this video to see how SPLITTERs are installed on a phenolic zero-clearance insert.
How much space behind the blade do I need?

It all started in a garage workshop...
Henry was working on an intricate project and was challenged with cutting thin strips on a table saw. His frustration with traditional methods sparked one of the most innovative woodworking tools to come out in decades.
After countless hours and prototypes, the Grr-ripper was born. Henry has continued to innovate, and Microjig now offers multiple unique product lines all over the world.
