Speed and precision
Record your blade’s actual kerf (including runout) by trimming it into the Setup Gauge. This serves as a template to set up your Dado Stop for a fast, precise dado cut. Best of all—there's no dado blade required.
Every blade and saw combination cuts its own unique kerf usually not visible to the naked eye. When it comes to joinery, however, even a few thousands of an inch can make all the difference. The Setup Gauge was designed to solve that very problem. It keeps a physical record of the unique kerf cut by a blade on a specific saw, making quick work of setting up the Dado Stop.
Your fastest dados ever.
- Blade kerf template for precise Dado Stop setup.
- Record blade/saw combination for future reference.
- 11/32” blade height gauge for cutting relief grooves on table saw.
- 3/8” depth gauge for setting dovetail router bit cutting depth.
Create your own clamp tracks.
With MatchFit, you're not confined to pre-set clamp positions. Carve out your custom dovetail tracks on any wooden surface, enhancing your hold-down capabilities where you need them most. The Dovetail Track System gives you all the functionality of T-track, in less time and at a fraction of the cost.
Seamless dovetail integration: All MatchFit clamps slide into any 1/2" x 14º dovetail groove, transforming your setup into a unified clamping haven for unmatched efficiency.
Setup dados in a fraction of the time.
Step 1
Cut a scrap piece of MDF to template on side of your kerf.
Without moving the fence, clamp the Setup Gauge to a crosscut sled, contacting the cut piece.
Step 2
Set blade height to the center of the notch.
Remove MDF piece and push Setup Gauge through the cut.
Step 3
The material trimmed out is an exact replica of the blade’s kerf, including runout. The resulting gap is used to account for the kerf when setting Leg 2 of the Dado Stop.
Use it around your whole shop.

It all started in a garage workshop...
Henry was working on an intricate project and was challenged with cutting thin strips on a table saw. His frustration with traditional methods sparked one of the most innovative woodworking tools to come out in decades.
After countless hours and prototypes, the Grr-ripper was born. Henry has continued to innovate, and Microjig now offers multiple unique product lines all over the world.
